ABOUT THE THEATRE



How many halls are in the Theatre, and what is their capacity?
The Theatre has two halls.
Hall 1 has 2,218 seats; 1,328 are located on the floor and 890 are in the balcony.
Hall 2 has 933 seats; 665 are located on the floor and 268 are in the balcony.

When do the doors open before a show?
The lobby doors usually open one hour prior to show time. Spectators are allowed to enter the hall 30 minutes before the show starts.

Does the Theatre had an audio system for hearing impaired spectators?
An audio system is available for hearing impaired spectators. Please ask one of our staff members for the frequency on the night of the show.

Does the Theatre have a section for spectators with limited mobility?
Both halls have a designated section for spectators in wheelchairs. For safety reasons, this section is located near the exits at the back of the room.

Is there an elevator in the Theatre?
There are no elevators in the Theatre.

Are cameras or other recording devices permitted in the Theatre?
The use of cameras or any other recording device is strictly prohibited during performances.

Is there a bar in the Theatre?
There are bars in the lobbies of the Theatre's two halls; they are open before the show and during intermission. Minors are not permitted to consume alcohol.

Are minors allowed in the Theatre?
Minors are allowed in the halls unless otherwise stated. Some shows may have a minimum age requirement. For shows that do not have age restrictions, parental guidance is recommended.

Where is the Theatre box office located, and what are the business hours?
The Théâtre St-Denis box office is located at 1594 St-Denis Street and is open Monday to Saturday from noon to 6:00pm.

How can we purchase tickets for the Theatre?
1. At the Theatre box office, located at 1594 St-Denis Street, in Montreal. The box office is open Monday to Saturday from noon to 6:00 pm, and accepts cash, debit cards, and Visa, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards.


2. By phone, by calling Ticketpro at 514 790-1111 or 1 800 848-1594 from Monday to Sunday from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm. Ticketpro accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards.

3. Online at all times at www.ticketpro.ca. Visa, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards are accepted.

Are gift certificates available for the Theatre?
Gift certificates are available at the Theatre box office, at 1594 St-Denis Street. These certificates can be of any value you choose, and can only be redeemed at the box office.

What can we do if we have lost our tickets?
If you have lost tickets that were purchased at the Theatre, you must call the box office, at 514-849-4211 (press 0 to speak to the receptionist). If you have lost tickets that were purchased by phone or online, call Ticketpro at 514-790-1111 or 1-800-848-1594.

How do we find out the price and availability of tickets for a specific show?
Information for all shows being held at the Theatre can be found on our website. To find out the availability of a specific show, you must either consult www.ticketpro.ca or call Ticketpro, at 514-790-1111 or 1-800-848-1594

PARKING AND RESTAURANTS


 


Is parking available at the Theatre?
Indoor parking is available at Indigo Parking, located at 1601 Sanguinet, between de Maisonneuve Boulevard East and Ontario Street and open 24 hours. There are other parking near the theatre. Details here.

How do we get to the Theatre by metro?
You must get off at the Berri-UQAM station and take the St-Denis exit. Once outside, cross de Maisonneuve Boulevard and continue walking on St-Denis. The Theatre is located at 1594 St- Denis Street, less than a block from the metro station.

Are there any restaurants and hotels nearby?
There are many restaurants and hotels for every taste and budget in the neighbourhood. For more information, go to the Latin Quarter website, at www.quartierlatin.ca. Visit our partner restaurants and receive a 10% discount on your meal upon presentation of your show ticket.
